What is Airrosti?
Open AllClose All
What conditions does this treatment correct?
In the absence of pathology (i.e. overt tears, fractures, infection, vascular conditions, autoimmune conditions, etc.) almost all musculoskeletal conditions will respond well to the Airrosti treatment model. These may include Back Pain, Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel, Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, Tension Headaches, Sciatic Pain, Osteoarthritis and much more. Click here for an overview of all conditions we help resolve.

Chronic complaints may not respond as quickly because over time the body develops compensations to deal with the effects of an injury but they still respond much more quickly and with better results than conventional treatments. Fascial distortions cause by these compensations must be addressed, along with any distortions that still remain from the original injury.

How is Airrosti different from numerous experimental treatments?
Unlike other experimental soft tissue treatments you may be familiar with, Airrosti is not a specific modality but rather an intergrated Best Practices Treatment Model. We combine the best available current evidence for treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions with a strict adherence to clinical best practices—emphasizing one-on-one patient care and evidence-based treatment. We're experts at diagnosing and treating the root cause of your injury, not just treating or masking the symptoms. It's this unparalleled approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment that allows us to deliver such remarkable and consistent outcomes for our patients.

How can someone with a severe sprain or pull recover so quickly?
Injuries to muscle and bone heal at a predictable rate. This has been demonstrated over and again in medical journals. In fact, muscle, due to its large blood supply, has a fairly short healing time of around 3 - 4 days. When fascial injuries are manually corrected, the muscle is allowed to fully heal at its optimal unobstructed rate.

Strains, sprains and pulls often involve injuries to the fascial tissue. This explains why an injury that has been cleared as uncomplicated (by x-ray, MRI, CT scan, and orthopedic examination) will still require anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks of traditional RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation) to "heal" and as many of you are well aware this "healing" almost never returns the area of injury to the level of performance it enjoyed prior to the injury.

What should I expect during my Airrosti treatment?
Each Airrosti treatment consists of one full hour of one-on-one, focused patient care. Your Airrosti Certified Provider (ACP) will thoroughly assess and diagnose your injury utilizing clinical guidelines and orthopedic and neurological testing. Once the source of your pain or injury has been identified, your ACP will use a highly specific, non-invasive manual therapy to correct the problem. Your treatment will conclude with an individualized active rehabilitation session to improve strength and range of motion and help prevent future injuries.

Is this treatment just for athletes?
Absolutely not. Airrosti does have an unprecedented reputation in the professional, amateur and Olympic sports/athletic community. Athletes are prone to soft tissue injuries (sprains, strains, pulls, spurs, plantar fasciitis and more), and rapid recovery times are critical for competitive athletes who can't afford to sit on the sidelines. However, Airrosti Certified Providers have achieved remarkable and consistent results for patients of all ages and fitness levels. In addition to acute injuries, Airrosti's treatment is highly effective at eliminating chronic pain in the back, neck, knee, shoulder, hand/wrist/elbow and hip. Many of our patients have been living with pain for years—even decades. In fact, 45% of all Airrosti patients are suffering from chronic conditions. While long-term chronic injuries (more than 1 year duration) may take slightly longer to resolve, the average Airrosti treatment plan is still just 2.9 visits for these types of conditions.

I've tried many other treatments, and nothing has worked. How can Airrosti help?
You're not alone. Many of our patients come to us after exhausting all other treatment methods. In fact, nearly half of all patients we see (47%) have been frustrated by traditional healthcare. 72% of these patients have had costly imaging and other diagnostic tests. 55% have seen a specialist for their condition. 54% were taking regular medications for pain management. 13% were told surgery was the only option. And 55% have participated in a traditional rehab/therapy program consisting of at least 6 visits.

We are experts at succeeding where others have failed. Unlike traditional treatments, we are trained to identify and treat the actual cause of your injury. Whereas other providers have limited time to spend with each patient to thoroughly assess and diagnose their condition, Airrosti Certified Providers spend one hour of one-on-one time with each patient. We are dedicated to helping our patients get out of pain and quickly get back to enjoying life.

If you've tried many other treatments before and you're still living with pain, we urge you to give Airrosti a try. 88% of patients, including those who have suffered with pain for years and tried many other treatment options, report Airrosti completely resolved their injury or condition in an average of 3 visits. You owe it to yourself to experience the Airrosti difference.

How long has Airrosti been around?
Airrosti, as an organization, has been in operation since 2004. Our origin and current operation has stemmed from the growing focus within the healthcare community to better understand and treat these connective tissue disorders.

Airrosti's model as it exists today is a collaboration of evidence-based clinical guidelines bundled in a "Best Practices" treatment and business model that focuses on outcomes rather than transactions. There are several people to credit, most notably, our founding doctors who developed this program into an extensive recruiting, training and practice model.

What is the average treatment plan for patients?
Each treatment plan is created based on individual patient needs, and while some visits are longer than others based on complexity and chronicity, our average number of visits is 3.

Do you accept insurance?
Absolutely! In fact, Airrosti's treatment is covered by most major health care plans, and more and more carriers are adding us to their network of providers. Airrosti is often a direct benefit (meaning you can visit Airrosti without a referral from another provider). In many cases, you will only pay a copayment, and several large employers are beginning to cover the Airrosti benefit at 100%.

When you call to schedule your Airrosti appointment, our Client Relations Team will verify your coverage specifics and let you know any upfront treatment costs you can expect prior to your appointment. We help eliminate any surprises and work to ensure your Airrosti experience is convenient, pleasant and hassle-free.

Is this treatment affordable?
Many insurance plans will provide reimbursement for our services. Airrosti will help you maximize your benefits by verifying with your carrier prior to treatment.

Airrosti is very affordable, even for patients with high deductibles or no insurance at all. Our quality approach to care resolves injuries and conditions quickly, and helps our patients avoid costly rehab, imaging (like MRIs and CT scans), surgeries and other procedures.

Based on our patient-reported outcomes, and third party insurance claim studies, patients who choose Airrosti first save time and money in achieving injury resolution. When you are facing out of pocket costs, Airrosti is the most cost-effective and efficient treatment available.
